I saw an old tv show with Box-car Willie here awhile ago, and he had a steel player playing a S-12 steel (brand unknown) and I think his name is Harlan---- does anyone know exactly who this might be? HM

Harlan was one of my early hero's on the steelguitar. It was back in the 50's and Harlan was playing steelguitar in Dallas with an unknown artist by the name of Sonny James. This was about the time that Sonny James recoreded "Young Love". For many years Harlan played the bass guitar and a lot of younger musicians never realized what a great steelguitarist Harlan was and still is to this day.
