Having devoted so many years of my life to Steel Guitar- My plan is this year is to introduce 'Steel" {Lap-Pedal} to 2004 people that have never had a chance with a "HANDS ON" Steel. I have several schools,Retirement centers, etc that are willing to participate in Steel demonstrations etc.At least everyone will have chance to Slide the Bar,and Push a pedal.Who knows how many will want to LEARN more about Steel. How about donating one to the Southern Ohio Opry for a drawing to be held with kids entry only and some free lessons. This may inspire a young kid to learn to play.

Bob Cox.-A good idea. Set something for around Feb 1st and maybe we can have a "Kids Hands On " on a Sunday afternoon. To make it more exciting let's bring the "Blind" Steel player and let him play.ED
