Hello All
Great site!!!
I've been out of the loop for a while. Just now getting back into the steel scene. I have a D10 Zum. But the tunings are from twenty years ago. Been noticing some more modern changes. Can some one get me up to speed? Appreciate all the advice. Thanks

Jack D who are you kidding you do not need to change anything,k you play the strings of that Zum just like you did tonight. Besides that I do not plan to be so laTE ARRIVING FOR THE JAM AND LOOSE MY SEAT AGAIN, I have to stay close to keep you singing those strings. If I play good he plays better, best, great. love you
as a pal.

Ernest!!!
You are turning out to be a big fan. Thank you for the support. And come early next time!!!. Yes the Zum sounds good but I still need to get it over hauled. It's twenty now. I need to get it to Bruce for
for some up grades. I t probably won't make me play any better but I'll look good doing it!!

Hi Jack:
Glad to see you've come on board. We miss you up here in NY State. And I see from your post that you still have the same guitar. Good for you. I still have my old black & blue ZumSteel too, but I 've added a couple more to the roster since you left the area.
Glad you're out and about playing as well. You're a dang, good horse.
Your friend,
Chris "Tiny" Olson |

For Walter, Jim & Jerry
Thanks for the welcome!!! I have found over the years that steel players share a common bond that from my field of vision does not apperr to exist
too many other places. To me this forum is a gold mind of information and understanding. My father said play the flute..."It's lighter". But over the years I have found myself in exceptional company.
"Ain't steel'in fun?????"

Playing the flute or the triangle might be lighter (weightwise) but have you ever heard of a "flute forum"?
Stick to the Steel Guitar, it's worth it!!
