Yes, he is a hero to me on the instrument, but also a real true gentleman in the best sense of the word!!!

I think the new CD has been reviewed on the forum a lot, but let me repeat it one more time:

If you don't have it, it's your own fault, you don't know what you are missing!

I can only repeat what has been said many times before here. This is probably one of the greatest steel albums ever recorded. I've listened to it in my car to and from work (about 45 minutes each way) every day since July. I never get tired of it.

"Steel Players" is the category for this.

Don't miss Lloyd's comments about "Hogan's Dream" http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/006266.html
and more at http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/006268.html

BTY, Gerry Hogan is the "Hogan" in the song.

It was an instant classic, and has lost no ground since it came out.
Poor Mr. green got writers cramp signing them at ISGC. Once word got out he was swamped.

This CD is so good it requires scheduled listening. I can't cheapen it by making a tape for the car, or playing it while there is anything but silence in the room. You must hear every nuance.
