I sure need a teacher!

I am a 55 yo beginner. I am having a rough time getting a comfortable and repeatable right hand position. I have Newman's "Right Hand Alpha" and have beautiful hand position - until I put my hand on the guitar!

I would be very willing to travel up to 100 miles from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to meet with a teacher who could help a raw beginner.
