Doug Jernigan's new Christmas CD!!!

I just heard this for the first time a couple of days ago - it's as wonderful as you'd expect from one of steel guitar's finest exponents.

He plays impeccably - although the selections are, for the most part, familiar, Doug puts his own inimitable slant on them. I was keenly anticipating 'Sleigh Ride', spoiled as I am by Emmons' seamless performance of this tune on his album, but Doug's version equally scary, 'though with a totally different feel.

I just love the whole record, and it was a very pleasant surprise - I'd heard nothing about it until a Nashville producer-friend of mine played it to me.

Has anyone else got this? If not, add it to your list of 'must haves'!
