I was just watching the CMT top 20 count down and see that Marty and Merle have made the top 20 with Farmer's Blues. This song reaffirms my faith that country isn't dead afterall. Does anyone know who the steel and fiddle players were?

Joe, it's Robby Turner on steel and Stuart Duncan on fiddle.
Great tune BTW.

David,
Thanks for the info. I kind of figured it was Stuart. Nobody else plays like that. But I wasn't sure of the steel. It doesn't sound like Paul, and now I know why; it isn't.

Really, really good tune. I hope real country is making a comeback. Man that'd be sweet.
