Went to the guitar show earlier today and noticed more PSG's than usual. Even saw Tom Brumley in a booth shaking hands, signing autographs, and playing. I also saw the folks that used to operate Steel City in west Ft. Worth, Steve & Stephen Lamb. They're back in business in west Ft. Worth again as Lamb's Music.

Tracy, It is 817-244-8600. Not open on Monday and I don't think he opens until Eleven on other days. I'm not shure about that but I am sure of ph #.Regards, fred
[This message was edited by Fred Jack on 19 October 2003 at 04:52 AM.]

This was a great show in years gone by - what's it like now? I travelled from London to Arlington looking for Teles in the mid-1980s, and was amazed by the depth of inventory at this show.
I still have the T-shirt (if not the Tele!) showing a well-endowed young lady who's just preserving her dignity with a strategically-positioned J200, and 'Elvis Armadillo' featured as an inset.
Now I've lived in the US for seven years, I haven't managed to get there, 'though I believe that vintage shows are not what they once were. Another once-good show was the one in Orlando - I flew to that one in '92. I returned earlier this year, and it was a pale shadow of it's former self - thanks to the internet, I suppose....

I bought my Dekley D-10 from Steve Sr. and have taken lessons from him. He is a great guy, honest seller and strong teacher. I know he is just started up his guitar repair/steel shop and it's great.
