...WOW!!!

Probably the biggest surprise for me. Her playing, especially the soul and her raw emotion and energy, just blew me away. I wasn't prepared for that. I was almost in tears watching and listening to her phrasing and soulful playing. What a show!

Her playing with Joe Wright Saturday night was priceless. Wow! Sunday was even better. She is great.

It was the first time I've heard Sarah play and I certainly hope it's not the last! She is incredibly talented and very entertaining.

I agree. My first time to see her. She drew more attention than anyone else at the convention. When she was in the Peavy room it was standing room only. After her performance Friday night she stayed in the hall signing autographs and posing for photo's for several hours. She took the time to engage in conversation with everyone asking for an autograph and didn't brush them off.

Her performance on Friday night had the elecricity of the Big E. Total controll and confidence in her playing, which was flawless and outstanding.

When she walked out on stage with Joe Wright she added additional elecricity to an already fully charged performance. It was awsome.

Well she sounded amazing over the interweb. And her playing was tasty and imaginative. I was shocked.

Her appearance in the Peavey room Saturday morning was mostly a question and answer session, so we got to know a lot more about her background and her present day schedule, touring Europe, etc.
Then someone asked her to sing something. We were treated to Cold, Cold Heart with just her accompanying herself on acoustic guitar.
It was like hearing that song for the first time! The emotion she sang with was just like she meant every word....
Whew!

WHAT breathtaking performances!! She is an awesome musician – and very personable, sincere, and unassuming to her audience. She gave the crowd everything we wanted, and more. . . . and when she joined Joe Wright, the combination was electrifying! While driving home last night, I thought about the gift she gave us all, how she captivated the hearts of men and women, young and old alike – her display of love, respect and boldness for the instrument we all love - and how she challenged so many of us to stretch our emotions to fresh new levels.!
Everything about the convention was superb – GREAT job Scotty and TEAM! Many kudos to the sound folks (Bill Ferguson and CREW) and the SENSATIONAL artists!

Now, from a female perspective, I do have a question for you guys with cameras . . . Of the twenty-something shots Tommy took of her, why do you suppose he was so interested in her pedals? I was amazed how many of you guys wanted a peek at his shots! Just curious! .

Why did she play a rendition of "Hwy. 40 Blues"? Because she can!!!!!!
I and a lot of folks apparently have gone from knowing her by name only to being huge fans in about 2 seconds flat. If she doesn't come back next year, someone needs to go get her.
