I thought the sound in the main hall was great all weekend!
I didn't use my musicians earplugs once all weekend, nor did I hear a single "ear dart" (brain tingling feedback).
Kudos to Bill Furgeson and crew!!!

Pete I'll second that. The sound was very
professional. |

Thank you Pete. Now let's give credit exactly where it is due.
The live sound was provided by
Charlie Dolbeare.
His son Matt Dolbeare and assistant Alan (I'm sorry I do not know his last name) did the "live" mix.
Oh yes, Matt is only 17 years old. He has a great pair of ears.
He listened to advice from Mike Brown and myself, but I promise you, he did not need us.
Take care

Pete, I couldn't agree more. I think the sound this year was the best of any year I've ever been there. It was never too loud and the mix was really good. Sometimes they were a little late bringing up the level of a solo, but the show is spontaneous and unrehersed, so there's no way its going to be perfect.
Great job, guys.

I listened over in internet and really enjoyed it! Who was in the backup band? They deserve a lot of praise for the tight rhythm section they provided...Who are those mystery men?
