.. band is learning the new song 'Red Dirt Road', and I was curious to who is playing on that track. My first guess/instinct is that it's Dan Dugmore on a ShoBud from the tone and style, but I've been fooled before by Paul Franklin's playing. Ever since Amazon.com stopped listing the credits for each track, hard to tell for sure. Thanks in advance

danny,
is troy still with them? i met him when he played with roy clark...then years ago we both ended up in switzerland one summer....he was with brooks and dunn right around boot scoot time.

Hi Chris.

Yes, as far as I know right now, Troy is still working the road with Brooks & Dunn. He has a very unique looking steel guitar! Click on the link for a look at it. He's in the upper right corner of the page. http://www.jagwirestrings.com/

Troy was with Roy Clark for about 8 to 10 years if I remember correctly. At the concerts it's obvious that Kix and Ronnie likes what Troy does, and their sound man makes sure he's being heard! Hope you get a chance to go see one of their shows, they put on the best show I've ever seen!

Bruce Bouton plays the sessions....on the older B& D Stuff....

He does a GREAT job..one of my favorites
