Rickenbacker Bakelites 6,7,and 8 string variations; Bigsby multi-necks; and one each of all brands manufacturerd. A gentleman here in Oregon has more than 450 steels in his 10,000 sq.ft. home. He can't play a note! |

Hey Ray, tell us more about the 450 steels in the 10,00 sq. ft. home. Is there a list of what he has in his collection and if a person was in the area, could he stop by for a tour? Thanks. |

In general, "Steel Players" is the appropriate section for surveys. Since this one includes both pedal and non-pedal instruments, it wouldn't be right to move it to the "Pedal Steel" section.

I would want to have every model steel guitar
built by Leo Fender and throw in a few Twin
Tweed Amps and Vibrosonics and a couple of Stratocasters born prior to Jan 1965.
This would be my dream. Fender Heaven. |

Hey JODY, my good man!
I hear you! My collecting days are over but yesterday I did find and acquire an old 1940's Harmony amp that sounds fabulous with my old Bakelites. It appears to be the same set up of the early Volu-Tones!
Am I having fun with my two notes and just keep playing them over and over. WHAT A TONE!

Ray
Which of the two notes do you play first?
The second note? or the first? I need to know
I would like to work on that progression.
Thank You. |

Jody, I'd like to have in my collection two of every multi-neck steel guitar that Fender ever built (both blonde and dark finishes).
And, tweed cases for all, of course. |

Rick
When I get to meet Leo,I put an order in for you.I need the string lengths you want and I
know the cases have to be "Tweed" Fender Of Course" courtesy of Dave Van Allen.
You and me both,,but I'll get to see Leo before you... maybe I can even get an original Fender T shirt for you...I still have mine from 1952..
Take care and dream of nice things,,I'll send
you something to put on your bedroom wall,it
will make your dream come true.
Thanks
The "Fender Fairy" oops what am I saying???
