Yep. Some people prefer that Old Sho Bud Sound...
Some people think they sound like hell and are poorly designed and built.
Sho~Bud seems to be able to withstand their critique better than most. Maybe because they're out of business..
Maybe the best of a company shows up after they go out of business, kind of like John Lennon got famous after he was splattered..
(I suppose a company using foresight would go out of business about the time their first run of guitars got shipped. Maybe someone's doing that right now...)
Probably in Sho Bud's case, the product stands for itself.. Even those wimpy super pros, and the ProIIIs that were shovelled out in truckloads without proper QC.
I noticed that WN didn't get any lap dances, though he got closer to Cheryl Crow than I ever will.
Also notable was Elvis Costello. A lot of people don't know it, but he's played and written more music, including country music than they'll ever be able to whistle.
The whole thing sounded like a huge bar band to me, and made me feel a little better about some of my gigs..
Just got my PF CDs and am going to be buried for a while.
Wish me luck.
I might not look 50, but my fingers feel it sometimes...
Well, back to the rack..

Well I suppose "splattered" is a colorful term for getting shot to death during a period of commercial failure ..
"Whacked" I guess is the term used in Kalamazoo.
I suppose I'm just having a "flashback". ( unintentional reminicence 20+ years later..)
I don't encourage anybody to try and alter their conciousness.
All the years my friends forced me to indulge in the "stuff" didn't help me, and they're mostly dead, in jail, or in public office...
I'm paving roads and playing steel guitar in bar bands and voting republican. What does that tell you?
I'm gettin a pretty good "buzz" off'n these PF CDs though..
I'm gonna go take a couple more "hits"./.
