alright im sure that this may be in the wrong area but I wanted to be out here for all to see, maybe i can get some light shed on what im doing wrong.
first of all when i go to the tab section and write tab in there its fine, but i like to sort of get it ready before going there, but every time i do that it wont work.
i use notepad that has the arial font monospaced, but after i write the tab copy and paste it still goes wrong, so i would like to have some input on this if i may thanks Joe |

Joe,
If you go into Notepad and select the font you mention, and type 20 capital I's on one line then hit return and type 20 capital M's. Are the two lines the same length?
That font isn't on my PC -- I wasn't aware that there was an Arial variety that's monospaced. I use Courier and it works fine. Have you tried other fonts? I suspect the Arial is the problem.

Joe;
Type it in Notepad.
When finished: Right click and select, "Select All."
Right click and select "Copy."
In the posting box type "[_tab_]" (removing the underscores and quotation marks)
Right click and select paste. Then "[_/_tab_]" (removing the underscores and the quotation marks)
I'm not even sure if this will show up correctly. Click edit to see it.
Good luck!

Ernie's right -- I misread your post
All you need to do is to be sure the UBB markers that Ernie mentioned ([tab][/tab]) are in there. That switches to a monospaced font between the two markers. Sorry for the confusion.
