Try www.elderly.com , they have a good selection finger- and thumbpicks and they had Nationals in the last catalog. And you may wanna try Showcase picks too, I still use the same pair I got three years ago. |

I ran up against a brick wall on that one.
I bought several in 78-84-5. They were much like what people are calling the "Old Nationals" except that the blades were broader, not "pinched in" at the base, and the composition was different.
Ones that have been for sale on ebay lately are not the "old ones", and actual "Old Nationals" are different than the ones I bought in the 80s.
I was graciously sent a couple genuine "old nationals" by Mike M, and Dave C. I was surprised to find that the 80s ones were different than either them or the "new nationals".
I bought some 1941 "old national replicas" from elderly insts and I ended up liking them, but I'd still like to find some of those 80s Nationals with the non-contoured broad blades.
