1998 Electra Glide.

You had to ask. The Old Blue 63 Panhead Sho~Bike Beatnik-Glide. 90cid, A grind, Roller Rockers Belt primary,and straight pipes. Rear 11.5"disc, square Swingarm, and small road sprocket. 116 @5krpm. That's fast enough for both of us. I thought it would make the neighbors fear me. It just pissed them off...

It's the only part of my life that's exactly the way I want it. Did it all myself except the lower end and tranny. Did the paint too.

I got to ride a Harley for a year back when you didn't need helmets. I couldn't stay off of it and had to rebuild a few things here and there. I finally felt satisfied after checking out the biker scene and decided to sell the bike cause it seemed too dangerous and the girls that wanted to get picked up most of the time were nothing to brag about. If I had another bike I doubt I would study music much of the time. Eric, thats a real fine putt.

I find that indeed it is a "Babe Magnet" but the magnetism seems to work more with the larger objects..

It was a real job getting to the point where I could bring the "extra helmet" out. I told the "little woman" that it was in case I came across an accident, and somebody needed a ride to the doctor.

( Hint: a small dab of gasoline masks the smell of hairspray and some perfumes.)

I usually bring my stuff to the gig in one of my 200$ beater cars, and ride there and back when it's nice. I was toying with a trailer or one of those sierra wheeled jobs with the Nashville strapped on...

I toyed with another bike earlier (99FXD) and settled for one that the wife wouldn't even think of trying the "It's the bike or Me" thing on. She hasn't said a word..

I've also got 2 rolling GW baskets I'm gonna get running unless those Franklin CDs get me really interested.. I hope they do.

Riding since '72. Current bike: Ducati 996. Best advice: Avoid those annoying straight sections of road.

France gave me a permit to ride strokers up to 1800cc, but no putt putt at the moment. They asked at the prefecture how big the motors were alowed, so I said something VERY big.
Had a New Hampshire car/bike licence and traded it in for a french one. Good for the life of the rider.
Only 5 USA states are reciprical here I was lucky to have a house in one of them.

I bought 2 XS 650 Yamahas last summer for $400. I restored the 79 and rode it until cold weather. The 80 is still in the building and will probably make a street tracker or a cafe racer out of it this summer or sell both and look for something else to work on.

How about a '99 Buell Lightning S1. 115 H.P. and weighs 398 lbs. Yes, It's too much for me. But, I have 8500 bone crushing , terrifying, miles on it, not even dirty yet.(the bike, not me) Do I respect it? Yes! Would I buy another one? NO! I'm looking for a trade now and insist the next owner be at least half my age. (Boy , it has great Harley tone though!)
