Can someone tell me where I can find the mdl # location on a Regal dobro ..
it is a round neck the body and back seems to be curly maple the top seems to be spruce or pine with mahogany neck it is not a real larg mdl. any help would be great thanks Jack |

Jack, the Saga Musical Instruments web site has pictures of each of the Regal models. It's most likely yours is a Model RD-75 based on the description you gave.

I have a blue Regal, no model or serial number to be seen anywhere on it, I suspect from looking at the Saga website that it's a RD-35. It does have a spun cone - that wouldn't be a Quarterman cone would it? |

Unless you put the cone in yourself, it's unlikely. Regal instruments do not come with a Quarterman cone as standard equipment.

Thanks, Brad, that's what I thought..it's a pretty good sounding instrument as is, so I don't think I'll rush out and put a Quarterman cone in it. I do wish they would put the serial and model #'s where you can see them. |
