Calling Jerry Douglas a "Dobro" player is like calling Michael Jordan a basketball player. Both statements are true but hardly begin to tell the story!
I like the comment some have made previously on the Forum.
".. Jerry Douglas isn't a "Dobro" Player, he's a musician whose instrument of choice is the "Dobro"

| Jerry Douglas, Let's see (Jerry Ford, Jerry Reed) ( Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglass). Just trying to figure a way not to forget his name. I've gotta have that CD when I get an opportunity to do it. I say him on the CMT MW show and it positively made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. It makes me want to get a hold on a dobro. Thanks for the replys. |
