Tom put me up at his place years back and he had a steel set up in the apartment. I never could figure out how he got that first string so high but if memory serves me correctly, it was a Bb. He told me how he did it but the years have played a fools tune on my recall. Like so many steel guitarists I have met or known, he is also one of the nice guys in my book and I will always respect him for his kindness !! On the other hand, his musical accomplishments
are legend and known well by those who know him.

Your right Tom is a nice guy, and a player in a half, I met Tom in 1970 when I went to Dallas to learn to play a steel, I'm one of his biggest fans...
