Hi everyone
I've been reading the Forum for a while too and figured it was time to sign up. I'd like to thank all parties concerned for a wonderful experience in Dallas - Buddy Bryant, Louie Hallford, Albert Talley, Wayne Yakes, and especially the band - Dean Baxter, Bob Meyers, Ray Keller, Paul Polish, Leland Green and Roy Rosetta. You guys are great!

Hi Bob and welcome to the Forum. I joined last year and this is one great website. This steel site gets in your blood just like playing does. You said you have been looking at the site so I do not need to say any more. It speaks for itself....Paul

Hi Bob!
Glad you joined the Forum!
I saw a picture of you performing at Dallas.
Way to go!
Sorry I missed you guys in the sleep deprivation pod. I'm probably down a few "Late Night Steel Guitar Listening & Appreciation" course credits now!

Hey, what songs did you do in Dallas?

Take Care!
Pete B.

Sleep deprivation area was in full operation (Wayne turned 50 - great fun!). I went for the Western Swing stuff because of the band - Redskin Rag, Undecided, Waltz You Saved For Me, Bootheel Drag, I Left My Heart In SF. Those guys are great. I may have to move to Texas so that I can hear fiddle and clarinet playing harmony lines more often.

Welcome to the "Funny Farm" Bob. You have joined a fantastic group. It gets a little hairy once in a while, but for the most part there is a lot of sharing information.and Ideas..and sometimes it's like having you're own staff of theraputic providers!
