Al Brisco and Louie Halliford in the Carter Room

Bob Case trying to relax-and failing. He plays tonight...

Butch Cornwell is here-he plays tonight as well.

Charlie Norris couldn't be kept away-at least he doesn't have to work this year!

Ignore that guy on the Wright...

more to come.....

JB, thanks for posting the photos. I'm sure we all appreciate them very much. However, we don't all know everyone by sight so if you could post names with each picture, It would be very much appreciated.

TIA

Hey John,
Thanks for posting the pictures. I feel like I am already in Dallas, even though I fly out tomorrow morning. I'm sorry that I will miss Bob Case's set. He is a fine player. I met him in the mid l970s when we were both on the road. I remember doing a show with Bob's group(the Billy Spears Band?) in Omaha at the Howard Street Tavern. Bob was impressive on the steel and played nice C6th swing in the style of Herb Remington, but I had to catch my breath when the lead guitarist switched over to the steel. He was the impressive Junior Brown, who went by the name JB Brown back then. I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Now if I can only get through these parent/teacher conferences tonight....
Chuck
