I've been seeing references to these for ever - can someone tell me what they are?

Is it steel-related, or something to do with your grandfather's collar-size?

It is software which offers you to talk to people all over the world. To get access you
will need a Number. (ICQ Nr.)It's a free shareware and you can download it.

Comes from the words "I seek you".
I have used it for years to communicate with buddies. It is an instant messenger thingy, but really yahoo's instant messenger works better.

I have used it to talk to people on the other side of the world, and it worked well most of the time. I am now able to use it again, as I just reloaded it, and some of the problems I thought were with this service were actually with my old I.S.P.!

My ICQ is 68452290
