After trying a grocery sack full of pickups on a new steel and a roll of solder, I called Jerry Wallace. I needed pickups and told him what I thought I needed for tone. He tweeked my suggestions and wound them,I put them in and the soldering gun is now cool. Just a good sounding pickup with good service.

I'm still sold on Jerry Wallace's pickups...For the money they can't be beaten IMO...
