Dang it Herb, tell Johnny to come to town some night when I DON'T have a gig! Image Image

I'm playing with Sweatin' Bullets at the Texas Star, 10260 Ferguson, Dallas from 9-2. They play a good variety, with some old two steps, waltz's, Dwight Yokum, Derailers, some 50's rock, and even some Stevie Ray Vaughan. This is one gig where I get to give my MIDI rig a workout. Image

Come on out if you're in the area, there's not even a cover charge, so I guaranty you'll get your money's worth! Image

I am going out to the Cumberland Tavern which is in Backwoods, WA. There are a lot of toothless or partially toothless folk under 50 out there. They do the white man dance too. I think most of them have a double barrel 12 gauge behind the door and 10 dogs in the yard....broke down cars...you know the drill.
Anyways, there is going to be a contest for singing. I think I'm going to play some fiddle with my dad.
The prize is a new midline (Tacoma) guitar and some recording time.
My dad is a better singer than I am. He's going to kick some tail at that contest!
Melinda
P.S. Every girl, if she's good, thinks her daddy is the s**t

Just remember: Bi-valves can't play steel. And if they ask, just say no.

Nick, I will be playing the Little O' Opry in Westfork, AR 8 miles South of Fayetteville
Ar. I am in my 12th year and we are playing to a full house. This is a non-rehearsed opry style show of family entertainment. This is where Joe Nichols and Jenee Keener got there starts so there is a lot of good
talent there.
