I recently got the Live at the Station Inn CD by the Time Jumpers and it's great! IMHO, it's the best rhythm section in Western Swing. Johnny is superb. I wonder if he's playing his E13 neck, especially on Heart of a Clown?

Hi Dave..this is Joan. I'm answering this for Johnny for you. He said he was playing the Bflat6th tuning on that tune. He said that most of the other tunes were played on the E13th tuning. Thanks for your interest in that CD and for buying a copy.

Dave,
Johnny's solo album..."Ballads, Shuffles and Swing" is also a great ablum if you don't already have it, especially the Curly Chalker tribute at the end. I think he sells them at The Station Inn on Monday nights.
