Who is using the Digitect 2112? Do you have a Buddy Emmons setting? Will you share it?
Thanks.

Thanks Jim for your reply. You are most thoughtful. What would we do without the Forum? Thanks Bob! I did notice that I did not spell Digitech correctly.

Jim,
I have a 2120. I think the setting will still work. Is there a place to go to find more setting for other steel players like Buddy?

Thanks,
Al Burk

Yes.
The Steel Player's guide to the 2112

The smartest thing is to do what Buddy did. Learn how the unit works and make your own settings.

Al, I'll clue you in. There ARE NO OTHER PLAYERS LIKE BUDDY. Image
Using Buddy's settings on the 2112 is only one small part of sounding like him. (BTW, as far as I'm aware, he doesn't use it any more) The 2112 or 2120 is a powerful piece of equipment but it's pretty easy to tweak once you figure out how. I use mine in the studio a lot for direct recording and the tube preamp is really warm and full sounding on recordings.

I'll also tell you that I didn't particularly like Buddy's settings, at least with the two guitars I record with. (I'm sure he'll be crushed)
