Excellent Job Bob!
All of the musicians are excellent on this track. I think your Steel track lays especially well with all of these acoustic instruments. Very classy!

Hey Bob,
The Hem stuff sounds great. I got a copy of the Doodars record from Justin A., and man, that is some wicked playing you are doing on there. The steel sounds great juxtaposed against those salsa beats and every thing else. Helluva sound. CH

Things are going very well for Hem. For me its great because I really enjoy my musical position in the band. I have a pretty big role but it is subtle for the most part.
For what it is worth I'm playing the D9 neck (I tuned my E neck down a tone) on my Franklin D10 through a THD BiValve.
I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen.
Thanks, Bob
[This message was edited by Bob Hoffnar on 13 December 2002 at 12:32 AM.]

Hey Bob,
Tasty stuff and an excellent tune
as well. Who does their writing?
Reminds me a little of the Cowboy Junkies.

Jay,
The tune I posted is a cover by Springsteen. We did an EP of cover tunes for an English label this summer. The main writer in the band is the piano player.

Very good steel sound and that singer also sounds very good! That band might be an average band over there - I canĀ“t judge, really - but if you worked over here you would be one of the best. USA is a real musical green-house.
