My vote is for # 2 as well. That other guy is either a former director of the FBI or a staff band member whose name I can't recall....

Yes indeed the one with me and Tommy White......
Tommy is such a true Gentleman and Friend.......He makes my Opry experience a great time and Memory I'll have forever.

Tommy sat down and played the Fulawka on a break.....and really dug it alot. He had many nice words to say about the "Blue Darlin II"....and many nice words about Ed Fulawka and his work on this particular pedal steel.
Thank you Tommy for another Weekend I'll never forget my friend; and a photo I'll cherish for a lifetime.

Congrat's Ricky! Something to be proud of and something great to show the grandkids one day.
Beautiful BLUE.....guitar. What a great color. I'd ordered that shade for my early 70's Emmons but it came out smoked blue/green/black like an old fading tatoo.
Keep on pickin' that great stuff!

Cool guys; and yes Lee an old Ace pack-a-seat....good eye. I use that one on my running around gigs......easy and light and fits in my clothes bag. My regular seat is a GFI and use it local.
That "IS" Tommy's ShoBud there..one of 3.
It is an all black '68 Professional in great shape and sounds>well> like a Bud.
His Carter is in the Studio and so he pulls the Bud out now and then. But wait till you see and hear the new Steel Tommy is getting(have ya got it yet man?).....and what he was telling me about it....well it will be JUST awesome, as he went the whole route with them on building it; as I did with Ed on my new Ax.

Sorry Bobby; hopefully Steven O'Brien will see this and formate that link to Netscape like the others.
Don't worry Greg; I'm still a full-on Steel guitar Nerd....and will be playing as much if not more steel guitar than ever>just more local.....and hopefully when you come visit; you can see and hear my new Hawaiian Solo gig that I'm workin' on.
Jim; my brother.....don't know if I can do TW's new steel justice as he told me alot about it.....but didn't write it down.....and my new 40 year old brain ain't what it used to be....but here's a preview.
It's a new custom made for TW(and he paid for it!!) Red top;Black front fully loaded Carter. It has the TW pickups with a series of coil tap switches on the back side of front neck. I wish I can remember the other features he told me....cause I remember saying: "Dang Tommy that is a heck of an Idea"....and he is as excited as I was about my new guitar......and he should have it by now; and I'm sure will play his 5:30 slot on St. Louis/Saturday, with this new Carter.

Very cool Ricky, thanks for the info. Hopefully Carter will delay their traditional 6 PM Saturday Forum photo until after Tommy has finished his set.

TW pickups aren't coil-tapped......interesting...will there be a new line? Single tap, double tap? More? Can't wait to see what Tommy has coming.

That's a pretty good bet, Jim, now that he's playin' a Carter. I'm sure they'd rather have us all in there hearing how goooood he sounds, than out in the hallway smilin' for the camera!

Jeff,
As far as I know, the George L "TW" pickup may be ordered with a single coil tap, which actually bumps the ohms from my originally designed 18.6k to 19.5k.
My best,
T.W.
