Hi Buddy - Hope you're doing great. I have some questions about "Lily Dale", the terrific Darrel McCall record you produced in the early '70's. I recently replaced the vinyl I had once upon a time and the CD version has a different cover than I recall. The CD pix look more recent. I think the record had Darrel leaning on a pickup truck. No matter, the worse part is there's no credits. Can you fill in the details on the great players on this record. I hear several different fiddle and guitar styles and your playing is outstanding - I love that part where you're by yourself on The Days When... The rhythm section is right in the pocket too. I know it's you on the bass on It's my Lazy Day, but that's all I remember. The CD has 10 tracks, but the vinyl may have had more tunes. I cribbed numerous fiddle licks from this record and I recommend it as a classic. The tunes are:
