I was wondering if that was Joan Cox playing
with Jimmy Melton in Jackson Tn. the 4th of
July. Jimmy is an old friend but I couldn't
make the show and another picker told me about the lady steel player and how great she
was so I assumed it was Joan. Sorry I missed
it. I know it was first class.

John it's good to hear from you. I hated to
miss Jimmy's show. He's always great and if
I missed Joan too. Shoot me now.Take care.
Kenny. What band does Buddy play with?
(still waiting for someone to reply if it was

Hi guys..yeah, that was me with Jimmy Melton's band. It was about 97 degrees out on that platform..I enjoy working for him. I've worked for him 3 or 4 times now. It sure is good to work with a good band. Thanks Pat for the compliment on the "nanner pudding". Whenever you decide to have another pool party, (and invite us) I'll bring you some more. Thanks to Johnny for being my "roadie" this time!
Jimmy Melton is the guy who wrote the song "She Was" that Mark Chestnut has recently recorded.

Well thar ain't nuttin finer than sittin down with a big bowl of "nanner puddin" and listenin to a Joan Cox CD....especially when she plays "Don't Touch Me"....i just look at that nanner puddin and well..... that's one time i don't take the advice of the song!! If you don't have Joan's CD, you are missing out on a "must have" in your collection.....from Joan "The Queen of Tone" Cox.
