David Ball's steel guitar player, Steve Walker.

From tonight's concert in Conroe, TX.

Bobby Bowman was there, too (for the opening act). Hopefully I'll have a few pictures to post of him very soon.

For some reason, I can't get Waylon Jenning's song (the them for Dukes of Hazzard) out of my head now: "she don't understand why they keep showing my hands and not my face on TV".

OK, I couldn't go to bed without posting THIS shot of Bobby Bowman.

"Tobacco sunburst" Emmons finish? If not that, what?

Don't get me to lying about the finish. But that sounds right. Here's a picture that shows more of the steel:

The colors seem pretty accurate.

Here's a posed shot (he caught me during the concert shooting this one) of Bobby Bowman at the steel:

For more pictures of both steel players (and other band members), click on the link in my signature. If you scroll past all the Wilkinsons pictures and Texas Opry pictures (on the left-hand navigation frame), you'll come to the David Ball and Bobby Bowman sets. (I named the latter Bobby Bowman's Texas Jazz Band for now, because I can't remember the name of the band).

Each "roll" (a misnomer, since these are digital pictures) has up to six pages (across the top of the right-hand frame), with each page having up to six thumbnails. You can click on the thumbnails for bigger pictures (like the ones I linked to above).

(Edited to change the link in my signature -- I guess changing it doesn't affect older posts).
