Topic: Who's got the Blue Zum? |

Kind of wondered if anyone ever ran a loaded up D-10 Blue formica Zumsteel that I used to own. It was "a dream of a steel" with aluminum necks, and had two left verticals and staggered knee lever clusters on both "L" and "R" E9 legs. If anyone knows, I'd love to know, you never know -

Thanks Anders, I woundered what ever happened to it, and now I see! I think I remember making that wood neck for it here in Nashville too! I never finished it afterwards because I didn't want to change the tone. Does it still have that deep richness about it? If Lars has an email I would love to hear from him. Nice post-thanks again

Lars is not a Forumite, but you can raech him at lars_halth@telia.com He´s a very "sporadic" mailer, so to say, ´cause he always has 10 or more projects going on all the time, and that makes him veeeery busy, but he´s a friendly and nice guy, so try to mail him.
Lars has worked a lot with the sound; our 230 V 50 c/s changes most amps´ sound considerably, for some reason that I can´t understand. I think he now uses a new pick-up for the E9 neck - one of those with 5 different tone positions (Bill Lawrence?), and he uses a Fender Twin Reverb, modified with a 15" speaker.

| I heard that blue guitar with a million jillion knee levers on it on its first job! At the Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita Kansas, Terry was pickin with Jimmy C. Newman and Cajon Country. At the time it was the most beautiful guitar I'd ever laid eyes on till he dropped it comming off stage at the opry and bent it up. Ha! WC Edgar |

Yeah, but that didn't stop it from looking and sounding terrific. (Just slowed me down a little ) I was talking about you two days ago and that guitar and trip to the Cottilion with Rufus Thibodeaux. What a time we had back then huh?
