here goes nothin'.. Considering many of us have been talking ( typing ) about melody playing, I have decided to go where no man has gone before ( well at least me ) and post up an MP3 of one of my recent practice sessions. be kind..did I mention to be kind ?

PS, keep in mind that I'm back on Steel after about a 12 or 13 year lay-off, I did play regularly from the 70's thru most of the 80's on a D10 Sho-Bud Pro III.

Tony,
Nice job. I liked your moving notes. BTW, you mentioned on your web site originally that you played steel in the 70's and 80's, then took a break, and started again 7 months ago. You ought to mention that to people or else your gonna discourage a lot of players whent they think you did this after only 7 months of playing!

Thanks all for the kind words, I did make a few changes this morning and will add a few more practice tunes in the next couple of days.

Jim, when I bought the Carter from you , it was already trained . You taught it well, all I have to do is show up and sit behind it !
