Hi! I'm also new. I've been playing some 50 years now, so no young thing. I do love the steel, I have a Mullen and love it. I have been reading the Forum for a while and really enjoy it. Hi Barb-Glad to see your name on here. Barb and I go back almost ALL of those 50 years she mentioned...we were both at the same music studio in Denver in 1949-50. Our mutual teacher, Harry Monson, is still alive and a huge steel guitar fan in Seattle. Barb has worked with some of the greats, but I'll hafta let her tell you about that....shes quite a picker and a GREAT person.

Ronnie comes to Denver fairly regularly. Get in touch with him by Email. He was inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame a year or so ago. He has come out for Dick Meis's Steel Jams. Dick is planning another in June, I believe, and Ronnie might be there for that one.
