I'm not sure this is where this belongs, but I guess I'll just have to ask for forgiveness! I'll also post this in the music section as well.
The changes at WSM-am are very serious, not just rumors, and very close to happening. I would really appreciate any of you that hate to see this happen join together to do what we can to stop it. You are all familiar with my friend Eddie Stubbs, and you also are aware of what a friend he is to the steel guitar. It is not unusual to hear him replay an intro on the air just because it's so good. He has the top ranked show over all three FM country stations in Nashville for him weeknight show and is consistantly number 5 or 6 in the overall market. He Saturday morning show is #1 period in Nashville. The crazy thing is that he will be completely off the air if this format change happens. If you hate to see this chapter of country music history end, please call and e-mail your opinion. This affects all of us.
