CJ,
I'm sure 'Reece can give you a better answer.
I've lived in Jefferson City since 1964 and never knew there was an MSA dealer. I ordered mine direct somewhere around 1973 and picked it up in Texas myself. At that time there was only one music store called Shaws Music. There's a couple more now but they've never sold steels. If Shaws was the store, you probably dealt with a man called Gus or another fellow called Smokey.
Does any of this ring a bell? Shaws was located right beside Holiday Inn. Anyway I'm anxious to see what 'Reece says.........
Question for Reese

CJ.....I played a lot around there with Merle Lindsey while playing on the Ozark Jubilee TV show each Saturday.
Its always a pleasure to correspond with you, and thank you for owning an MSA. If you are ever in the Dallas Ft.Worth area let me know. It would be a pleasure to meet you. All the best.
[This message was edited by Reece Anderson on 19 December 2001 at 08:13 PM.]
