Thanks Ann for the list !
I have gotten one of my most lucrative and steady gigs from people using the online list to find steel players.

Plus I just got home from a last minute session where the producer had lost my contact info and tracked me down by typing my name and pedalsteel guitar into google.

Its a great service.

You are reponsible for registering and entering and editing your own data. I cannot list you or edit you ... YOU are the one in control of whether you get listed. We actually upgraded our web server (and pay more to host this directory now) to allow YOU to register and list yourself (and edit yourself) ... MOST of your steelin' buddies seemed to want this and seem to be fine with using the site as is.

You received a COURTESY email from us, indicating that you had NOT completed listing yourself. You had registered, but you had not logged-in and actually entered your information.

It appears you probably registered with various usernames and passwords, resulting in duplicates of both, and that's what jogged the COURTESY email.

If you keep registering without completing the information, all we can do is DELETE all registrations until you select one, stick with it, and use that username and password to log in and LIST yourself.

Maybe a friend who has been through it successfully will be happy to call you collect and guide you.

Thank you so much, Ann, I guess that being a picker has A LOT to do with it. I never liked computers anyway. Now I know I will GET FLAMED because I said due to being a PICKER

....... I just ENVY those PICKERS that CAN use computers very well

My wife will RESCUE ME here, she KNOWS ALL!!!

This is Cathy Preston. I got Ron on the OnLineSteelers Directory. I did not have any trouble at all. It is very user friendly. It justs takes a woman's touch sometimes.
