What brand of guitar?

Post by Craig A Davidson »

Does anyone know what brand of guitar did Norm Hamlet play on Merle's latest album?

In September of 2000, he played St. Louis with a GFI and also toured with it some but went back to his Emmons.

Thanks guys, I also got an e-mail that said it was a Fender Stringmaster. That's what it sounds like to me. This is on Merle's new "Roots", album.

I'm back, guys, and MANY THANKS to the GREAT people who helped out when things were down. Things are looking up but I have a NASTY scar right between my 1st picking finger and my thumb. Thank God I did'nt lose any motion in my picking hand. Anyway, I just wanted to post and say..........Did,nt Norm Hamelet play a RUSTLER many years ago? I always wanted to play one, and IMHO, they look like they weigh a ton. I think they are one beautiful guitar. Maybe someday I will get to sit behind one. And once again, THANKS,Guys, for helping us out. (You know who you are!!!)MARRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! Image
