Try PC-cillin. Their web site can clean your hard drive on-line and you can then download a free 30 day trial. I really liked it so I bought it after 30 days for $29.00. Since it was already downloaded they just gave me a serial #..... it updates itself every couple days .

I had a similar problem several months ago with the Sircam virus and Brad B. steered me toward this. Thanks

Update: Apparently this worm can infect your system even if you DON"T open the attachment!!!

Jelle, are you downloading the latest virus definitions from the Norton website every week or so? This MUST be done to keep your anti-virus software current!

New viruses are constantly being developed, so you must keep up with them by updating ANY anti-virus software that you use!

I run Norton Sytemworks 2001 and had to turn on email checking, it wasn't set by default. If this is the case, open the Systemworks control panel and turn email checking on. Norton doesn't check AOL email BTW, only MS Outlook and Outlook Express from what I can tell.
