Yes, Buddy Merrill, one of my favorite players. I heard him live backing up a singer about 2 or 3 years ago in Southern California and he was better then ever. He sounded 100% better then he did back in the 70's and he was good then. His touch and tone that he had when I heard him live was close to a Buddy Emmons. In fact when I arrived at the venue where he was playing, I ran over to the stage thinking that it was indeed Emmons. He was that good. I got a chance to meet him and talk with him for a while. Besides the great musician, he a great friendly man and very easy to talk to. He has a web site. www.buddymerrill.com Duane Becker
