I've just got my copy of this CD. Is it my CD player or is track 5 not at 440? There's a nice steel intro it would be good to learn, but it is annoying when it's out of tune with my steel. All the other tracks are at 440, and it can't be my steel, as it was in tune when I bought it (in 1989)!

Well, I don't have this CD yet, but you know you have to tune your guitar every 10 years. That puts you a couple of years late in tuning that bad boy Image

Richard..I have not heard the CD, but if I may venture a guess,I would say it is the CD and not your Steel. If you have only had it since 89 there is no way it is out of tune. The one I bought in 79 has only been out of tune once......hummmm or was that in tune once...gosh I really need to go check that..

You guys are nuts. Everyone knows you only have to tune when you change strings.

Richard,
You are correct concerning track 5. The only thng I can figure is that they must have VSOed the track for tempo when it came time to mix,as I'm sure we didn't re-tune when we cut that particular song.
