I saw Tony a couple days ago. He has a little band, a van, and a trailer, and still plays clubs in the Nashville area. Tony had heart surgery a little over a year ago, but he's doing fine now.
He's been a good friend of mine since 1965, when I spent the better part of the summer working with him in George Kent's band out west and in the upper mid-west.
He will be happy to know that he is still fondly remembered.

As always, I'm late on this reply but, I had to go to Myrtle Beach and lay around and eat sea food for a week. Besides "Pop and Country Steel Guitar" and "Plays the Farr out of it" Tony also had out "Warm and Easy".
I enjoy listening to all three of them.

I went into the Sho-Bud store in April of '73 and picked up my copy of Tony's "Fire" album Okay, "Farr" from my friend Jack Boles that was working there at the time and still have it packed away. It is part of my treasured collection, thanks, Gary
