Doug Jernigan: Darn that Dream!

Man, what a fabulous tune that is! Played beautifully, just beautifully. I've been working on an arrangement of this tune all night and I just love playing it. Thanks, Doug, for introducing it into the steel guitar community.

Jim- I sure like your taste in music. "our day will come", "deep in a dream of you",
and now You like "Darn that dream". All songs that I remember so well.
I used to play all those songs like that on my E6th tuning on my old 8 string 6 pedal original Gibson Electra-Harp (this was not the one you put in a case, this was built in 1940) full chord style just like Alvino Rey.
There were clubs, hotels, etc, where you could play those kinds of songs, and get paid for it, but rarely anymore. Too bad.
BTW I like your CD of "Finally Here", it's really great...........al

I stumbled on this thread and I too am trying to work out an arrangement of sorts.
Jim,do you have any special pedal combinations for the tune that you`d like to share?
