Changes for "I'll See You in My Dreams"?

Post by Ian McLatchie »

One of my favorite tunes to play on lap steel is "I'll See You in My Dreams" (I've worked out an arrangement for the Leavitt tuning, and will be happy to send anyone who wants one a copy). Unfortunately, the only sheet music version I have is a pretty basic piano arrangement, and I'm not sure I have the full chord voicings correct. Does anyone have a detailed chord progression for the song, or better yet a full guitar arrangment? Thanks for any help - I can't find a good fake book version of the song anywhere.

Ian;
Check this: I'll See You In My Dreams.
I've got it by Les Paul and Mary Ford. Great stuff!

Ernie-
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for providing the sheel music to "I'll see you in my dreams".

It shows the lead line and the Chords and timing. That is really all a steeler needs to play this, If he knows where his notes and chords are on the steel.

I have played this tune many times over the past 50 years or so usually at the end of the night.
It brings back many memories....al Image Image

It's on a website that I go to when somebody needs a chord chart.
