We saw the Big E Saturday in Lancaster Pa at the American Music Theater and Sunday in Easton Pa at the State Theater with the Everly's. Sunday's show was electrifying. The acoustics in the old restored theater were incredible. The audience was extremely responsive, in fact, I think the Everly's were taken back by it. They and the whole band put everything they had into the show. Our hero did likewise. His tone and phrasing were killer. I have seen this show 4 times in the last 2 years and I must say I was overwhelmed tonight. The steel was at the level we all like to hear. You could here every chime, rhythm ride and lick that Buddy played. He was obviously having a great time. Area 51 is calling me so I must leave.
