Jim Lauderdale is coming to Phoenix this Sat at the Celebrity Theater. He is opening for Lucinda Williams.

His new album, "The Other Session," has quite a bit of steel on it. Does anyone know if he is touring with a steel these days?

Last time I saw him in Phoenix, he did a single.

Sam,

Jim Lauderdale just came through L.A. yesterday with Tommy Detamore on steel, so I imagine Tommy will be with him out your way. That's a good thing, cuz Tommy is a great player!

I watched the video of Jim Lauderdale on the House of Blues site and Robbie Turner sure played some great steel. You should check it out.

Jim is doing a lot of these dates without a band. I did two LA dates with him this week. Joe Goldmark did a date last week in Northern CA. I will be doing to more dates next weekend in Texas.
Greg, sorry I missed ya!
Chas, I'm gonna call ya!
