Something doesn't look right. Did Dobro ever use position markers like those?

The inlays look like they were added later. The poinsetta cover plate may not be original either, seems like that guitar should have a fan-style cover plate. Maybe a 70's or 80's model. At that price, I wouldn't worry too much about originality if it sounds good.
