Yep, looks like we got us a new no peddler here in Forumsville.

He's crossed over to this side of the force...but I'll let him make the announcement hisself. Don't want to steal his thunder.......

I know you're talking about me Howard!

I haven't "switched sides", but I am in the process of getting a "to die for" non-Pedal Guitar. Due to paranoia about jinxing, I will not provide any details until I have it in my hands.

I'm still a Peddler and intend to stay that way. But I also intend to go after those great non-pedal sounds that I've loved all my life.

Soon I'll be able to "Swing Both Ways"!
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Has everyone seen the pictures of my early '50's Fender T-8, "The Custom", which (like a big dummie) I let get away from me in '89. I still can't forgive myself, and I even wonder sometimes if the guitar has forgiven me! I'd go through "hell and high water" to have that one back, even though I had refinished it in black. It was a good looking and great sounding guitar, even with me behind it! "Big John" Here it is, below! http://community.webtv.net/KeoniNui/BigJohnBechtels

John
You and your Custom were made for each other.

Like that old tune.

You Were Meant For Me
I Was Meant For You
Heaven Sent You Down From Above
Someone Like You To Have And To Love

You're Like A Plaintive Melody
One That Cant Set Me Free
I Confess The Angels Must Have Sent You
And They Sent You "Just For Me"

I like those "shades" way cool.

Thanks for the plug. That photo was taken in 1953 and the other about 7 years ago.
