I have fixed several with PC7 ...

Fill in the grooves ... let it set up for a couple days ... file it smooth .... just like new.

Most hardware stores have the gray ... you can order it in black ...

I'd buy something like this and use the bits to repair the bridge. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2153880571&category=933

Melting an old black rotary dial phone case has been known to work...worth a try.

Good price for an cool ol' radio which I woulda snatched if I'd seen it in time. But I'z hoping with all our 'to spec' manufacturing wizards, that someone would be into the old bridges. And are the originals in fact, bakelite?

One of the other posts revealed that Herring Scales were used to creat the "Mother of Toilet Seat" finish. Maybe the next revelation is that Bakelite is Charlie the Tuna.
