I don't know if it's possible or not with my particular Lap Steel (Gretsch Syncromatic), but I'd like to rig my lap steel with some sort of neck strap arrangement so that I could stand and play it (same idea as a Dobro). I've seen other Lap steels that had a neck strap as well as some sort of stomach stand off piece. I don't know if this is adaptable to any lap steel or only certain models / body types?

I don't know where to start looking for something like this. Any ideas? Thanks.
